You have to meet their standards or else your being rejected from the world. People will push themselves to be a certain way so that they can be accepted by others. But what happens when they find out that none of this is true? What happens when their standards are not met? It's difficult because they have been pushed so hard by others for so long, but being honest with them and telling them that what is happening isn't working out is difficult.
It takes a lot of strength to tell someone that they are making mistakes when it comes to looking inside themselves and finding out what makes them happy.
